I’m from New Jersey, so I’m no stranger to Dunkin’s offerings. In fact, my first coffee ever was an iced caramel swirl latte (which I used to wash down a chocolate glazed doughnut, obvi). If you aren’t a frequent visitor—or are hoping to branch out for your usual—consider this list of the best Dunkin’ drinks, including ten editor favorites that range from espresso drinks to blended bevs.

Can You Eat Gluten Free at Dunkin’ Donuts? Yes—Here Are 9 Menu Items We Love

1. Iced Macchiato

Like at Starbucks, Dunkin’s macchiato is an upside-down latte rather than a traditional macchiato—but that doesn’t make it less delicious. “I love an iced macchiato with oat milk and caramel swirl added to the drink,” PureWow associate editor Chelsea Candelario. “It’s sweet but not too sweet, and has the right amount of milk, two shots of espresso and sugar.”

2. Hot Chocolate

Nothing hits me in the childhood like a piping hot chocolate on a cold day. “I love the classic Dunkin’ hot cocoa,” raves PureWow editor Abby Hepworth. “They usually make it with water, but you can request (and pay extra) to make it with milk, and that’s extra delicious.” (Personally, I’m a bigger fan of the white hot chocolate.)

3. Butter Pecan Iced Coffee

Despite having no scientific evidence to back this up, I feel like everyone stans the chain’s caramel flavor. But perhaps we need to hear PureWow associate editor Destinee Scott out on this underrated option. “I’m obsessed with Dunkin’s butter pecan iced coffee,” she says. “Like, pumpkin spice who? It’s so much better, and I can drink it year-round. It’s a comfort drink.”

4. Cold Brew with Sweet Cold Foam

“The Dunkin’ cold brew with sweet cold foam is surprisingly delicious,” asserts PureWow executive managing editor Catrina Yohay. “The cold brew is just punchy enough but not overly intense or bitter. And if you prefer your coffee sweet, the cold foam provides just the right amount of [lightness] to balance it out. I also skip the milk when I get this drink; it’s not needed in addition to the foam.” Roger that.

5. Plain Iced Coffee

This is by far the most popular Dunkin’ drink among PureWow staffers. “Every time I visit my sister in Jersey, we go on a doughnut and coffee run,” explains PureWow associate fashion commerce editor Steph Meraz. “Our go-to sister order is black iced coffee; it’s the bitter punch we need to cut through the sweetness of our doughnuts. It’s like the water of coffees—I can gulp it down without hesitating, which is kind of concerning now that I think about it.”

For PureWow assistant editor of branded content Madeline Merinuk, it’s more about getting bang for her buck. “An iced medium coffee with a splash of almond milk always does the trick for me. You can’t really beat it for the amount they give you for $3.”

As for PureWow VP of news and entertainment Phil Mutz, it’s his preference over the cold brew. “The cold brew tastes like it could strip the paint off a car. I like the iced coffee with almond milk and two sugars. The key is to specify how many sugars you want, otherwise they put so much. The sugar always settles at the bottom of the cup, but I prefer it that way, [so] my straw gives me a sweet, little surprise every few sips.”

6. Vanilla Bean Coolatta

When I was a kid, I loved this coffee-free blended sipper. I’d sneak across the main drag of my town with friends to buy one, even though I wasn’t allowed (sorry, Mom). I was a big fan of the vanilla bean crème Frappuccino from Starbucks too but appreciated the slushier texture of the Coolatta. The ice pieces were softer and somehow more refreshing.

7. Iced Tea

Whether you get the tea unsweetened, with a lemon wedge or cut with lemonade, it’s undeniably thirst-quenching. “I always get a caramel swirl iced coffee with oat milk,” admits PureWow director of branded content Rachel Gulmi, “but I also like the iced tea and lemonade, which was my go-to when I was pregnant and didn’t want [so much] caffeine.”

8. Hot Blueberry Coffee

Another slept-on flavor that’s worth adding to your to-taste list. “As a die-hard Bostonian, Dunkin’ will always have a special place in my heart,” asserts PureWow assistant editor Delia Curtis. “Usually my go-to in the winter is a hot coffee, light (that means with cream, if you’re not from New England) with two or more pumps of blueberry flavor. It’s not too strong, but still gets the job done and pairs well with the doughnuts (and my personal fave, the cinnamon roll!). The pastries are on the sweet side, so I prefer a more muted coffee.”

9. Caramel Swirl Latte

What is it about this timeless sipper that folks never tire of? For me, it’s the lush, creamy texture of the flavor swirl (flavor swirls are sweetened and thick, not to be confused with unsweetened, thinner flavor shots—the more you know). It makes the latte silky, especially when paired with two-percent or whole milk. Plus, it doesn’t require any additional sugar or mixing.

10. Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher

If you want a pick-me-up but aren’t a fan of coffee or espresso, this fruity sipper is the way to go. It’s packed with B vitamins and will give you a green tea-infused boost. I’m partial to the strawberry dragon fruit, but there’s also a mango pineapple option if that’s more your speed.
