Expertise
As a fashion commerce editor, I’m passionate about all things fashion, covering standout clothing collections and must-have sales to noteworthy brands and designers. Think of me as your style-savvy friend, dedicated to helping you find the perfect outfit for that upcoming date, shop within any budget and stay updated on which trends are in and which are out. When I’m not diving into fashion, I’m exploring beauty, entertainment, relationships and dating.
I’m deeply immersed in my reporting, so you’ll find me testing products for detailed PureWow100 reviews and documenting how clothing, accessories, and beauty products look and feel up close. (TL;DR: I can’t resist a mirror selfie.)
Experience
Before joining PureWow in 2021 and starting my career in digital media, I explored various journalism opportunities. I worked as a fixed income research analyst at UBS Financial Services, Inc., where I wrote and edited detailed reports on municipal bond grades. I also served as a copyeditor for The Alcalá Review journal, handling both fiction and nonfiction submissions. My background includes experience in public relations and book production as well. Additionally, I am a faculty member for the Columbia Publishing Course at Columbia University, where I teach graduate students about branded content, affiliate marketing, commerce and social media during the summer media workshop.
Education
I hold a bachelor of arts degree from the University of San Diego, where I double majored in English literature and communications, with a minor in creative writing. After graduation, I attended the esteemed Columbia Publishing Course—a four-week intensive program covering all aspects of book, magazine and digital publishing—at Columbia University in New York City.
Additionally, I have earned certifications in Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel (Office 2016) and completed Fashion PR Confidential, a two-day workshop series that provides a comprehensive overview of the fashion PR industry.
