Expertise
I cover a variety of topics at PureWow, including but not limited to beauty, fashion, news, entertainment, travel, wellness, money and LGBTQ+. As a member of the PW editorial team and LGBTQ+ community, I am always striving to write in-depth stories that work to help educate our readers on topics that may be less familiar to them like rules for shopping in the men's section or exploring sexuality and gender. I also aim to find ways to put interesting twists on trending topics like anything-but-boring vanilla perfume roundups or how to review the best mascara for blonde eyelashes.
Experience
I have worked in media for the last eight years, covering a variety of different beats, and have held positions and internships at Boston Magazine, Boston Common Magazine and Northshore Magazine. I also worked in healthcare media for two years at Maximus and joined the editorial team at PureWow in 2022 where I help to maintain our administrative processes and email sends as well as write timely articles and essays covering everything from men's fashion and nonbinary identity to roundups of the latest fall candles and trend pieces on makeup looks from TikTok.
Education
I graduated from Emerson College with a degree in Writing, Literature and Publishing and received a minor in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies in 2019. During my college career, my degree was tailored toward print/digital magazines and media and I worked for a variety of print and digital publications on campus as a writer and style editor.
