Expertise
As a lifestyle writer and editor with 15+ years of experience, I cover a broad range of topics including family, fashion, wellness and relationships. I also oversee special projects (such as the Happy Kid Awards) within those verticals to help readers problem solve life’s sticky situations and uncover more joy. My main focus is parenting content, something that touches all things—for example, how to infuse trending styles into a functional and mom-friendly wardrobe, but also how to navigate your marriage and child’s growth and development (bumps along the way included!).
I’m also a longtime royal reporter and co-host of the Royally Obsessed podcast, recently named one of the best royal podcasts by The New York Times. I co-wrote a book about the royal family, too, called Royal Trivia: Your Guide to the Modern British Royal Family and have appeared regularly as a royal contributor on CNN, the BBC, Times UK Radio and more.
Experience
I got my start at Niche Media in Boston, Massachusetts, where I worked on a two-person editorial team for Boston Common magazine covering arts, culture, home, celebrity and entertainment. From there, I relocated to New York City to work as a writer and editor covering boldfaced women, celebs and fashion for Good Housekeeping. I have also contributed to several other publications including Parent & Child, Forbes Travel Guide, Gotham and more.
Education
After receiving my bachelor’s degree in sociology from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, I earned a master’s degree in journalism from Emerson College, also in Massachusetts.
