Keeping tabs on what members of the British royal family wear is a job-related requirement, but also a longtime personal passion for me. That’s why when I see an ensemble as amazing—and versatile—as what Princess Beatrice wore to the Flackstock Festival this week, I shriek. The look? Beatrice stepped out wearing the Flora Bud Navy dress ($403) from Beulah London, a brand favored by the royals, but also a style with a floral pattern so delicate, it feels summer-worthy, yet fall-ready, too. Even better, it’s still in stock.

Beatrice was pictured at the event on the arm of her friend, Natalie Pinkham, who happens to be co-founder of the Flackstock Festival and a valiant supporter of the cause. Held annually in Berkshire, England, it honors the memory of Caroline Flack, a British presenter who died by suicide in 2020. (Flack also briefly dated Prince Harry, a subject of much conversation in his autobiography, Spare.)
The cooler British temps as of late meant that, even in July, Beatrice kept an optional puffed-sleeve denim jacket—her signature!—over her arm. As for the dress, I love the rich navy hue, the pink floral bud print, even the midi length. It’s made from a heavy linen, which helps it hold its shape—and furthers the case that it’s the perfect transitional look for fall. (OK, if you really want to make like Bea, you could add a floral headpiece, but that’s optional, of course.)
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m bowing down to Beatrice’s pitch-perfect style decisions as of late. Now, if you need me, I’ll be adding this beautiful Beulah London style to cart.
