With its slick, millennial-friendly aesthetic and multi-purpose products, Our Place manages to win over the internet with every new appliance and cooking tool. Its latest offering? The artful-yet-powerful Splendor Blender ($125; $105).

But anyone who’s shelled out for a new kitchen item on appearance alone knows that not everything you buy lives up to the hype. Reader, don’t sweat: PureWow is vetting it for you.

On the latest episode of Take My Money, host Kate Kesselman tries the Our Place Splendor Blender to see how it handles Jennifer Aniston’s famed chocolate smoothie recipe. The high-speed blender promises to create silky smooth blends in 45 seconds or less with a 1,000-watt motor. Check out the video of her honest review below.

In the video, Kate notes that on first impression, the Splendor Blender feels lighter and less bulky than other blender models she’s used in the past, and the top and blades both detach easily. That’s key, since the entire blender pitcher actually converts to a to-go cup for whatever you’re making in it. “I’m definitely going to be using this for the gym,” she says.

On to the smoothie-making: Kate dives into Aniston’s recipe, combining chocolate almond milk, chocolate-flavored collagen powder, cherries, bananas, stevia, spinach, cinnamon, matcha, almond butter and ice.

“It’s super easy to get on,” Kate says of the blade attachment before turning the blender on. And the results? “The Splendor Blender is very powerful,” Kate says. “I did not expect it to be that powerful.” She also notes that you can fit a surprising amount of ingredients in the blender pitcher.

On a PureWow rating out of 100, Kate gives the Splendor Blender a—drumroll, please—100. “I just wish they had it in more colors.” FWIW, the blender comes in three standard colors and one limited edition hue.

(Oh, and if you’re wonder how the smoothie recipe tastes, Kate says it tastes like chocolate ice cream and gives it an 8.5 out of 10. How’s that for a review?)
