Expertise
I focus on beauty, fashion, wellness, travel and entertainment content. Beauty culture is particularly intriguing to me, and I’m constantly testing and researching new products, keeping tabs on trends and debunking dubious beauty and wellness hacks. But when I’m not poking holes in questionable TikToks, I’m also writing about celebrity-loved beauty and fashion picks (and putting them to the test to see if they’re as good as they claim to be). You’ll also find me sounding off on anything that has to do with personality types, from the MBTI to the Enneagram and Birth Order Theory. (And yes, I can guess your type in four questions.)
Experience
I’ve been in the lifestyle space for the past five years, starting with an internship at a Paris-based travel website. (Unabashed Francophile right here.) From there, I freelanced for sites like Martha Stewart and Forbes Vetted, and worked as an editorial assistant at Southern Living. Prior to PureWow, I spent time as an assistant editor at Popular Photography, an arts magazine where I covered daily news and features.
Education
After earning a journalism degree and French minor at Boston University, I spent a year and half in Paris sharpening my language skills—and taking notes on what all the French women around me where wearing. Now based in New York City, I’m often taking writing classes, reading craft books and voraciously devouring any and all resources related to the Myers-Briggs and Enneagram personality tests.
