I've been lusting after Carrie Bradshaw's wardrobe (and shoes, and makeup and apartment) for the better part of my life, so I obviously took notice when Sarah Jessica Parker's makeup artist Elaine Offers Woulard shared a few of her go-to products for achieving Carrie's totally ageless glow on And Just Like That.... In an Instagram post from the set of AJLT, which is currently filming for season three, Woulard revealed that she's been using Merit's Flush Balm blush ($30) on Parker in shade Cheeky since the very first season to give her character that glowy, yet natural look that truly captures her inner joie de vivre.

As it happens, the creamy blush is a longtime favorite of multiple PureWow editors, who rave about its lightweight, buildable formula that you can easily adjust to suit your skin tone. Commerce Editor Olivia Dubyak lists it among her dewy summer beauty essentials, while Wellness Director Sarah Stiefvater owns the product in two hues and calls it "totally foolproof" when it comes to application. Obviously, it also has quite the cult following on TikTok, where it has gotten a stamp of approval from beauty gurus like @juliexwong, who shows the Flush Balm in action in the video below.

Besides its seamless application and gorgeous, sun-kissed color, one of the best things about the balm (which can also be used on your lips) is that it's packed with vitamin E to condition your skin after it's applied, so it's basically like skincare and makeup in one. According to the brand, it also doesn't contain any acne-triggering ingredients, plus it's certified cruelty-free and vegan.

Merit

Reviewers confirm just how good the formula is, with one writing, "It adds a youthful glow to my skin, and the luxurious feeling it leaves behind is unbeatable. It's not greasy or heavy, and it quickly gets absorbed into the skin. I love how moisturized and smooth my skin looks and feels after using the cream."

So, not only is the Merit Flush Balm SJP-approved, it also has quite the cult following. Considering all that, I'm adding one of these versatile, glow-giving blushes straight to my cart before word gets out about just how fabulous they are—and you probably want to do the same, especially while all the shades are in stock. Carrie Bradshaw summer, here we come!
