Britney Spears’s memoir, The Woman in Me, is set to be adapted into a biopic, and her former assistant, Felicia Culotta, has some casting ideas that will leave you starstruck.

Culotta spilled the tea to TMZ on August 7, revealing that she believes Emma Roberts, 33, would be an absolute knockout as Spears, 42.

While Roberts gained notoriety for her roles in the American Horror Story franchise, she—like Spears—also spent her early days in the spotlight on kids' TV shows. The “Baby One More Time” singer got her start on Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club and Roberts on Nickelodeon’s Unfabulous.

But that’s not all. Felicia also thinks Drew Barrymore would nail the role of herself, and she’s got another gem up her sleeve: Timothée Chalamet as Justin Timberlake.

The Woman in Me, released in October 2023, became an instant best-seller. It delved deep into Spears’s life in the limelight, her tumultuous romance with Timberlake and the ongoing drama with her family.

Blake Lively, 36, was also tossed into the ring for the role of Spears while attending the world premiere of her new movie It Ends With Us in New York City on August 6.

"I shouldn’t be hired for that but I would love to be," Lively confessed to Entertainment Tonight.

While the Gossip Girl star humbly admitted she’s not gunning for a role in the biopic, she honored Britney at the movie premiere by dazzling in the same custom Versace dress that Britney originally rocked at Milan Fashion Week in 2002.

The off-the-shoulder gown was a vibrant floral masterpiece in pink, yellow and blue hues, perfectly paired with colorful earrings and sky-high silver heels.

To top it all off, Blake took to her Instagram Story to further pay tribute, sharing a nostalgic snap of the pop icon in that unforgettable dress. She captioned it, “Today’s mood. The ultimate queen who made us all want to sparkle and write and share our stories.”

Blake’s heartfelt message continued, “Britney, us millennials all have a story of a moment, or of years that you made us want to shine and inspire awe, with strength, and joy and immensely hard work. Thank you for your example and your contribution to women telling their stories.”
