Dasha Burobina for PureWow

He’s the best babysitter in the world, the one with all the jokes, always getting the best gifts for grandmas and giving the best advice: Yes, we're talking about grandpa (or gramps, granddad, poppy, etc.). So why not show your appreciation for him by choosing a gift he's really going to love, whether it's for the holidays, his birthdayFather's Day or just because? Start with his interests: Is he a cook? Buy him the Cuisinart air fryer ($235; $130) from Wayfair that all the food blogs are talking about. Is he into exercising? This Therabody mini massager ($199) will soothe his aching muscles. Or maybe he likes the History channel, in which case this little Boston Tea Party tea sampling set ($39) of world history will blow his mind.

I could go on and on, but I won't hold you up. Here are the 57 best gifts for grandpa.

How I Chose the Best Gifts for Grandpa

I started with a deep dive into popular hobbies (from reading to cooking), as well as gifts that appeal to different personality types. I also thought of ways you could help Grandpa connect with his loved ones, and chose thoughtful products that would enhance these experiences. From there, I—along with my fellow editors who contributed to this story—researched useful devices that might make his home life a little easier, and some that could even help with his safety. And as always, we kept in mind the number and quality of reviews while making our choices.

For the Endlessly Curious Fellow

1. Masterclass Online Courses

masterclass

For the grandpa who loves becoming an expert in everything and anything, there’s Masterclass. The star-studded lecture series has been offering a variety of courses taught by successful athletes, actors, scientists, mixologists and more since 2015. Each course is divided into 12 to 20 ten-minute long sessions and covers a variety of topics as the instructor moves through the lessons. Whether your pops wants to learn acting skills from Natalie Portman or take a beginner cooking lesson from famous chef Gordon Ramsay, the gift of a membership (which is billed annually) means they can take unlimited classes from the company’s robust catalog of 180+ videos.

For the Grandpa Loving Dad

2. Uncommon Goods Dog Pawsonality Test

Uncommon Goods

If gramps is a dog lover with a bit of quirky side to him, he may very well enjoy this dog "Pawsonality" test from Uncommon Goods, which features a series of fun personality-test techniques he can conduct on his dog to see what their character profile is. Not only will this be a unique bonding activity for him and his beloved furry friend, he'll also enjoy lots of laughter along the way.

For the Traveling Gramps

3. Uncommon Goods Traveler Playbook

Uncommon Goods

Maybe he's always been a world traveler, or perhaps he plans on soon becoming one, as he's now officially retired. Whatever the case may be, any traveling grandpa will certainly appreciate a small journal where he can document all of his jet-setting adventures and memorable experiences along the way. This is a neat gift that everybody in the family can get in on.

For the One With Misplaced Keys

4. Apple AirTag 4-Pack

Amazon

An Apple AirTag (better yet a four-pack) will help Grandpa keep better track of his keys, phone or anything else he misplaces on the regular. This small Apple device uses precision finding with ultra-wideband technology that’s designed to lead you right to your lost device using the Find My network on compatible Apple devices. There’s a simple one-tap setup that’ll pair and connect your devices with the AirTag, and if gramps happens to lose his wallet, all he’ll have to do is put the AirTag into Lost Mode to receive notifications on its location in the Find My application. Plus, there’s a built-in speaker that’ll play a loud sound to help him track it down. “Using the air tag has saved me time (and money) that will never be wasted on searching for my wallet, keys or work fob again. Now, there will certainly be an issue if you neglect to replace your battery, but that’s a biannual activity for me factoring the occasional ping for misplacing my items,” says an Amazon reviewer.

For Instant Shared Memories

5. Aura Frames Smart Digital Photo Frame

Aura Frames

Grandpa can’t always be there to witness the special moments, but thanks to the Aura Frames smart digital photo frame, he’ll get to experience the priceless memories you capture. The smart frame lets family and friends upload photos and videos to the Aura app before gifting, so when he unboxes his special gift and plugs it in, he’ll be surprised to see a flood of personal images and videos. And if gramps isn’t the most tech savvy man on the planet, you can preset the WiFi ahead of time; his only job will be to plug it in. The frame will come packaged in the company’s premium gift box, and there’s a place in the app to add a video message or photo with a personal note that he'll see as soon as he turns it on. And as long as you have the app downloaded to your phone, you can continue uploading new images to his picture frame.

For the Carnivore

6. Porter Road Meat Subscription Box

Porter Road

Crackling bacon on the stovetop, sizzling steak on the grill and braised beef searing in the Dutch oven—it’s all music to your grandpa’s ears. So, you can bet your bottom dollar that he’ll be thrilled to receive one of the six Porter Road meat subscription boxes like the Dry Aged Beef Box, Breakfast Box or the Butcher’s Choice Box. Every month, he’ll get a handpicked selection of cuts that are pasture-raised and include seasonal favorites, too. The Butcher’s Choice Box is packed with two premium dry-aged steaks (either ribeyes or strips), two pork chops, two sirloin filets, one pound of pork bacon and one pound of dry-aged ground beef. There’s even an option to customize your delivery schedule and select add-ons, like hot Italian links or chicken bone broth, if you want to beef up his box (pun intended).

For the Weekend Pickeball Pro

7. niupipo Pickleball Paddles

Amazon

Like clockwork, your grandpa meets his buddies at the pickleball courts for a little rally and competitive doubles match, and the niupipo pickleball set will take his game to the next level. Grandpa will receive two rackets (one for him and one for Grandma) made with high-quality fiberglass and polypropylene-honeycomb composition, one travel-friendly sports bag and four balls...because you can never be too prepared. They’re designed to feel more lightweight compared to most other paddles, which means he can squeeze in an additional couple of games without feeling too fatigued, and they feature a sweat absorbent and cushioned grip that won’t irritate Gramps’ hands easily when he’s hitting those spikes and returning those volleys. Check off the Amazon coupon code box to receive 30 percent off your purchase at checkout.

For the Chronically Cold Grandpa

8. Bearaby Tree Napper Weighted Blanket

Bearaby

PureWow’s Associate Fashion Commerce Editor Stephanie Meraz finds herself constantly concerned about her grandfather’s blanket collection. “Ever since my grandpa served in the Korean War, he’s never been able to stand the cold. Every time I visit or call on the phone, he always asks me if I have enough blankets, tossing a few at me if there’s none in sight.” The Bearaby weighted blanket has helped many buyers fall into deep sleep cycles, and the weight helps to stimulate your body’s production of serotonin and reduce cortisol. We love how the Tree Napper is both cooling and warming so he won’t get sweaty while napping with it, and it’s made from soft natural eucalyptus fibers and comes in three weights (15, 20, and 25 pounds). According to the brand, it’s best to opt for a Napper that’s 10 percent of your body weight.

For the Beer Drinker

9. Walmart Tabu Beverage Cooler and Refrigerator

Walmart

Portable and versatile, this ultra-chilly mini fridge, which received an impressive 3.7 stars out of five on Walmart, will be a great addition to your grandpa’s man cave, no matter how he chooses to decorate it. It also holds plenty of drinks (up to 62 cans) while still managing to be compact in size. It’s made with a stainless-steel frame and has a glass front door that lets him see his beverage stock at a glance. The two chrome frames inside are adjustable and detachable, so he can chill a few larger bottles. “This thing is fantastic,” raves one buyer. “It has tons of adjustable shelves to fit your needs and it maintains your drinks’ [temperature] exceptionally [well]. If you’re seeking out a nice [statement] piece in your bar or game room this is it.” If you want to be really baller, gift it to Grandpa plugged in and fully stocked with beer.

With fill-in-the-blank pages for your kids to glue in pictures and prompts like ‘If I had to describe you in one word, it’d be,’ this gift is sure to get him all choked up looking through it again and again.

For the Sporty-Cool Grandpa

11. Apple Watch SE 2nd Gen

Apple

This one’s for the fit (or wannabe fit) grandpa on the block. And don't assume he won't be able to figure out how to use it—the Apple Watch is super grandparent-friendly and will allow him to quickly go from answering texts to tracking his heart rate (and getting alerts when it’s unusually high or low) to setting sleep goals. “Being a tech enthusiast and someone deeply involved in the IT sector, I appreciate the crash detection and heart rate monitoring functions. Safety is paramount, and the watch's ability to detect a potential fall and initiate an emergency call is a reassuring feature, especially when I'm out traveling or in the middle of a research project. The heart rate monitor keeps me informed about my cardiovascular health during workouts and daily activities,” says one Amazon reviewer. About that crash-and-fall detection feature? It will automatically send a message with your grandpa’s location to his emergency contacts to inform them that he’s been in a serious accident and connect him to emergency services for help.

For the Tennis Lover

12. Vivo Barefoot Geo Court III

Vivo Footwear

Since Pop Pop never misses his afternoon tennis matches, it makes sense to buy him these soft, lightweight sneakers. They’re made from consciously sourced leather, have a breathable vamp upper and a cork and recycled insole that’s designed to cushion your foot. It also has a protective underfoot for extra pain protection. Having been worn by the Royal family, they're comfy enough to wear all day, plus they're sleek and trendy. So really, you'll be taking his shoe game up a notch and giving him another reason to look forward to his next trip to the court.

For the Active Guy

13. Theragun Mini 2nd Generation

Therabody

This is Theragun’s smallest and lightest device yet, and it can help ease everything from a chronically sore lower back to an aching knee. The compact device goes directly on the part of his body that’s bothering him, and has three speeds that deliver 1,750, 2,100 or 2,400 percussions per minute (PPM) and comes with three attachments (standard ball for overall use on large and small muscle groups, dampener for firm pressure and thumb for trigger points and the lower back). The gift also includes a soft, protective case and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable.

For the Outdoorsy Grandpa

14. Yeti Hopper Flip 12 Soft Cooler

Yeti

If he spends all his time in the backyard, fishing, hiking or camping, he needs this Yeti cooler in his life. He can use it to store his beer cans (up to 24, to be exact) and his lunches for hours, thanks to the cooler's incredible insulation. It’s 100 percent leakproof, durable and comes with a shoulder strap that makes it easier to carry when his hands are full. “I've owned a ton of coolers in my years in the field, and this one just kills it," one buyer says. "My dad always told me to buy the best quality you can afford, if you can afford it. These coolers will reward you with the performance the price commands.”

For the Home Cook

15. Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven

Wayfair

All the fried foods he loves, now prepped in an easier and healthier way. This puppy bakes and broils, air-fries, toasts, warms and has a setting specifically for pizza. We love the compact proportions (15.5 inches wide by 12.5 inches deep) and manageable heft (15 pounds) of the Cuisinart air fryer toaster oven, which make it countertop-friendly. Reviewers appreciate that there are built-in bumps and wings that ensure the vents won’t sit too close to the wall or other objects. Plus, the automatic shutoff will come in handy the next time he forgets to turn it off after making his famous buffalo wings.

For the Tech-Curious

16. Microsoft Surface Laptop 5

Microsoft

Grandad is in the market for a new laptop, but he's not sure what, exactly, he wants. While we're partial to gathering the kids and splurging collectively on a Surface Laptop Go 5—it's a powerful touchscreen computer that's hard to beat—Microsoft makes it oh so easy to find something that suits his needs perfectly. Surprise Pops with a personal shopping appointment (which is a free video or audio chat, so you don't even have to leave the couch), where a Microsoft employee will ask him about what he wants out of a device, his budget and how he'll use it, then offer customized suggestions of what to get. No buyers remorse here.

For the Lounger

17. Parachute Cotton Robe

Parachute Home

If your grandpa goes from the bed to the kitchen and sofa, then he'll appreciate this robe. It's made of 100 percent Turkish cotton, so it's incredibly cozy, and it has two front pockets for him to put his glasses (because he's constantly losing them) and his phone. And he’ll like that he can toss it in the washing machine without having to worry about shrinking it or ruining the plush fabric. All that’s left to decide is which colorway he’ll prefer: a dusky blue, moss green, stone grey…

For the Green Thumb

18. Aerogarden Harvest 360 Garden System

Amazon

If your grandfather has the greenest thumb in the family, this indoor hydroponic garden will give him some seedlings to look after—without risking the backache that comes with outdoor pruning. It includes Genovese Basil, Curly Parsley, Dill, Thyme, Thai Basil and Mint seeds, along with a season's worth of natural nutrients, power adapter, a three-ounce bottle of liquid plant food and a 20W LED grow light system with an automatic on and off timer that mimics natural sunlight to help the herbs grow faster than they would in soil. He’s going to love adding fresh basil to his famous tomato sauce.

For the Pickleball Devotee

19. PaddleSmash Outdoor Game

amazon

Be it cornhole, tennis, ping pong, pickleball—Robert DeNiro in Meet the Parents has nothing on your Gramps's competitive spirit. This portable game won us over for how easy it is to set up—and how quickly everyone gets into the game. Teams of two to four people try to bump, set and smash the ball onto the court, so it bounces over the net and past their opponents' paddles. “My family and friends have really enjoyed this game and been playing a lot ever since we got it,” says one Amazon reviewer. “It’s pickleball meets spikeball, but a good combination. Loads of fun for everyone!” Psst...you can receive 15 percent off at checkout by applying the coupon code that’s below the price marker.

For the Evening Walk-Taker

20. Coach Track Belt Bag

Coach Outlet

It holds keys, a phone and other essentials while he's clocking his 10,000 steps through the neighborhood. It also features an inside multifunction pocket in addition to the outside zip pockets, so he can keep his receipts, change, glasses cleaner, gum and handkerchief tucked safely away. And if he just so happens to be a leather aficionado, the smooth calf leather on this Coach track belt bag will catch his eye. So handy, he'll wonder why he hasn't been using one of these always.

For the Wine Lover

21. Wine-Chilling Coasters

Uncommon Goods

It's no secret that many wines taste better cold, and, by chilling the glass from the bottom, these innovative coasters will spare your grandpa from having to drop in a few ice cubes. The reclaimed granite base is also pretty sleek, earning him a few style points. It’s encouraged to store the set in the freezer when you’re not using it to lock in the temperature-maintaining powers, and when he’s ready to enjoy a glass of vino, he can place the cold stone into the stemless glass that comes with the purchase before pouring his first glass. Oh, and Grandma won’t lose her marbles because there won’t be any condensation rings left on her antique table.

For the Guy Who Loves Baked Goods

22. Milk Bar The Little Somethings Set

Milk Bar

If he’s never had a treat from Milk Bar, now’s the time to introduce him to this NYC-famous bakery. This gift set features six assorted cookies (corn, compost, blueberry and cream, confetti chocolate confetti and cornflake chocolate chip marshmallow), world-famous birthday truffles and chocolate birthday truffles for the perfect starter pack. Best of all? You can schedule his gift order up to 30-days in advance and write a personalized gift note that’ll be just as sweet as the desserts inside.

For the Suave Dresser

23. Nisolo Huarache Sandals

Nisolo

With age comes class, which is why you should bless your grandpa with these sophisticated shoes. Their intricately handwoven construction will be highly appreciated by a gramps with a fashion sense, and they slip on and off with ease, no bending down required. Their shock-absorbing and non-slip soles will also help with comfortable and safe steps. As one reviewer assures us, the “huaraches are made with the utmost care and attention to detail, all at a stunningly affordable price. The fit is perfect and will slowly mold to my feet. These are timeless classics that can be dressed up or down.”

For the Massage Lover

24. Mo Cuishle Shiatsu Back and Neck Massager

Amazon

If he can’t get himself out for weekly massages, this highly-rated back and neck massager is almost as good, promising to melt away tension and soothe sore muscles. Simply wrap it around his neck and the shiatsu massager will go to town, kneading, rolling and applying just the right amount of pressure. Plus, it’s travel-friendly, so he can take it with him on his road trips.

For the One Who Enjoys Dressing Nicely

25. Nahmias Men's Botanical Silk Camp Shirt

Nahmias

Your grandpa has always enjoyed looking nice, so how about splurging a bit and scooping him up breezy camp collar shirt. Making with an elaborate blend of silk and elastane, not only is it super comfortable, but its versatility allows him to dress up for fancy occasions such as anniversary date night with grandma, or an afternoon on the golf course with the fellas. Pair it with Pas Une Marque’s denim jacket, and he'll be the flyest looking guy in the room.

26. Atlas Coffee Club Subscription

Atlas coffee club

Has Grandpa been hinting that he's interested in "experimenting" outside of his beloved Folgers? Help him discover roasts that he wouldn’t be able to find in stores with this monthly subscription service that sends gourmet blends from ethically sourced farms in Costa Rica, Kenya, Ethiopia and beyond. He’ll even receive a special postcard from each country of origin that features tasting notes and the coffee’s history along with their bag of fresh grounds. There are three gift subscriptions to choose from (the Starter Pack, Standard and Coffee Lover), which can be sent straight to his door or emailed at various monthly frequencies and range in price from $60 to $199. Think of it as a way his new way to travel without leaving the breakfast table.

For the Adventurous Eater

27. Burlap & Barrel Spice Collection

Burlap & Barrel

Before he gets to the grill, your grandad’s going to want to concoct a fancy rub for that steak. Treat him to a nine-piece set of these high-quality spices—from ground laurel bay leaves to smoked pimentón paprika to purple stripe garlic—and watch him go wild. (Then throw away his 10-year-old meat seasoning while he’s not looking.)  “I have been cooking for over 50 years and can honestly say that these spices are amazing. I love the easy-to-use jars and grinders they come in. I recently joined the spice club and was overjoyed with my first box," one reviewer says.

For the Bearded Grandpa

28. Jack Black Beard Grooming Kit

Jack Black

If your pop resembles Santa but still wants to keep his facial hair looking streamlined, this classic kit made exclusively for beards is the way to go. With an all-over wash for cleansing, a beard lube to make shaving easier and a special oil-based moisturizer that’s formulated to make his hair look shiny and hydrated—his beard is going to be silky-smooth in no time with this four-step beard care routine.

For the Guy Who Deserves Cashmere

29. Naadam Cashmere Sweater

Naadam

Gift granddad with a cozy sweater he can wear on top of anything, or just keep in the car in case he's headed somewhere with that dreaded too-high air conditioning. The finicky PureWow reviewer who tested the women's version swears that this $98 wardrobe staple is worth every penny, thanks to the luxurious and warm cashmere fabric. The men’s version has a classic crew neck and timeless fit and, according to the description, it runs slightly small, so we suggest opting for a size up if you want your grandpa to have a sharp, tailored fit. There are ten core colors to choose from, like navy and cement grey, plus eight vibrant, limited additional colorways.

In this fascinating book, subtitled Cracking the Longevity Code for a Younger Tomorrow, bestselling author Dr. Michael F. Roizen of the Cleveland Clinic joins with two acclaimed economists to examine why human life expectancy has doubled in the last 100 years and how it will change people's bodies, brains and bank accounts. This optimistic book predicts living past 130 will become increasingly common, and includes an action plan for physical and mental wellness in addition to economic health.

For the Birder

31. Gosky Monocular Telescope

Gosky

Your resident birdwatcher may have a nice pair of binoculars already, but sometimes a scope, which typically has a greater magnification, is best for spotting shorebirds on a distant shore or hawks circling high above. This one has 12 times magnification and 55-millimeter objective lens, or, in lay man’s terms, some of the best high-powered magnification for distance watching. And if Grandpa is experiencing irritating light reflection on his current pair, then this monocular telescope will do him good because it contains an 18-millimeter BAK-4 optics prism and fully multi-coating lens that’ll deliver the sharpest and clearest picture without any interference in light transmittance. Did we mention that it’s waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and fog-proof? That’s right, your grandfather can carry this on him during his next hunting and fishing trips, rain or shine.

If dear old Gramps is still using the same grill he bought in 1988, give him the gift of an upgrade. “After grilling on a gas Weber for the last five years, I decided I wanted to try a charcoal kettle grill,” admits one customer. “Everyone I know swears by their Weber kettle, so I bought this and a premium kettle in the last week—both are fantastic. I’ve made wings, a pork butt, a turkey breast and a couple of great steaks with them. I’m new to charcoal but it’s been easy to control the temperature.” This classic charcoal option has a large cooking surface for both direct and indirect heat, and a one-touch cleaning system for easy mess removal, post-feast. Gramps’s friends will be impressed by the sleek look of the porcelain-enameled lid and bowl, and Grandma won’t have to fuss over its upkeep and protection when it rains because the legs are made from a rust-resistant aluminum. Now that’s what we call happy grilling.

For the Hiker

33. Teva Hudson Sandal

Zappos

He’ll be able to let his feet breathe—as well as keep himself upright—thanks to these shoes’ rugged rubber high-grip outsole that won’t shirk when he encounters a patch of mud or small stream. These classic hiker’s sandals are lightweight, so they won’t slow him down, and the contoured EVA midsole keeps his arches well supported. As for wearing socks with them…seriously, he's earned the right to whatever fashion statement he likes.

For the Forgetful

34. Tile Pro Two-Pack Bluetooth Item Locator

Amazon

Stick this on his keychain or in his wallet and he can easily find it within the 400-foot range of its Bluetooth signal. With the Tile app, he’ll be able to ring his tile if its within Bluetooth range and use the app to see its last location if it’s out of Bluetooth range. If the Tile happens to get lost, he can add his contact information that’ll be accessible by a QR code on the back of the Tile. Unlike the Apple AirTags, the Tiles are compatible with both Android and IOS devices, plus it works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri, too. And there are two in the set, in case one goes missing.

Secret war mission gone wrong, missing vessel, washed up shipwrecks and what befalls human nature when men are left stranded on an island with one objective: To survive. This work of narrative nonfiction from the author of Killers of the Flower Moon became an instant number one New York Times bestseller. It follows the multilayered history surrounding the events and catastrophic aftermath of the British vessel His Majesty’s Ship the Wager’s disappearance, which set off on a secret mission during an imperial war with Spain in 1740 and washed ashore on the coast of Brazil two years later. When another craft lands on the coast of Chile, containing castaways willing to tell a different, less heroic and more brutal story, the stakes grow high. Who will the court deem truthful? And who will be hanged for their crimes? Grandpa will be on the edge of his seat waiting to find out.

For the Birdwatcher

36. Wasserstein Bird Feeder

Wasserstein

If watching the birds isn’t enough, your grandpa can bring them directly to his place with this innovative bird feeder. Easy to assemble, it can mount on his wall or a nearby tree, and can hold the perfect amount of bird food. But the best part about the product is that it is compatible with many outdoor home cameras, allowing your grandpa to appreciate nature and create some wonderful memories, all at under $100. “I have used several products from Wasserstein in the past and was always impressed with their quality, and this bird feeder was no exception. I added one of my spare Ring security cameras in the feeder and started capturing amazing videos the very first day," raves one Amazon reviewer. "I love the setup, and so do our feathered friends."

For the Dog Owner

37. BigCartFamily Custom Pet Portrait

Etsy

It’s no secret that Spot is his favorite “child,” so you might as well embrace it. Send in a photo of your pet and this Etsy seller will create a hand-painted, 8x10-inch watercolor portrait that Grandpa will want to frame immediately. “I really wanted to get a handmade painting pet portrait for a gift, and I got EXACTLY what I wanted!” one five-star reviewer gushed. It makes for a sweet and sentimental gift that canine-lover will appreciate, especially if it’s of an old dog that holds a dear place in his heart.

For the Cook on the Go

38. Nutribullet 4 Piece Set

Nutribullet

Give chef grandpa a thoughtful blender to whip up some of his favorite early morning favorites before heading to the gym. This one is easy to set up, use and clean when you're all finished, making it a personal favorite of mine for quick protein shakes and breakfast smoothies.

For the Book Lover

39. An Audible Membership

Amazon

Set gramps up with an Audible membership so he can mix in an audiobook—like Malcom Gladwell’s Talking to Strangers or David Sedaris’s The Best of Me—every now and then. You have the option to gift a membership for one month, three months, six months or one year, which range anywhere in price from $15 to $150, and if he already has a membership, you can still send him credits to use for more book purchases.

For the Guy with a Tiny Kitchen

40. Our Place Always Pan 2.0

Our Place

Our favorite three-piece pan recently got an upgrade. The 2.0 pan is designed to replace a traditional ten-piece cooking set for under $150: it braises, sears, strains, sautés, steams, boils, bakes, stores and serves. And while it won’t replace every cooking tool in his kitchen (PureWow’s food editor recommends keeping it in rotation with a cast iron skillet), it’s definitely a great present, if only for the sheer ease of use and storage, plus a simplified clean-up process. One of the most notable upgrades, besides the fact that it’s oven safe up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, is the long-lasting Thermakind ceramic nonstick coating, which is made without harmful PFAS, lead and cadmium materials. Now it’s time to enjoy some of grandpa’s famous golden pancakes.

For the Sharp Dresser

41. Psycho Bunny Lynbrook Knit Bomber Jacket

Psycho Bunny

Gramps was wearing bomber jackets long before you were, so how about treating him to a brand new one for the season? Crafted in knit material (which is actually rare for bomber jacket), this is a stylish lightweight jacket that's easy to transition from season to season. He'll be able to wear it by itself on days where it's cool, or use it as a layering piece in the winter time. The logo engraved hardware stands out, making this a must-have under $200 purchase.

For the Home Barista

42. Ovente Electric Milk Frother and Steamer

Home Depot

If he can’t stop talking about the daily cappuccinos he drank when he vacationed in Italy three years ago, he’d put a milk frother to good use. This at-home coffee tool works like a charm to whip dairy or non-dairy milks into a creamy, frothy perfection, and it doubles as a heating tool so it can warm up hot cocoa or other beverages that he’ll want to enjoy during the winter months. “This makes the most beautiful foam ever! 1/3 cup becomes a thick rich cup of frothy creamer. Better than any coffee shop! Best purchase we've made in quite a while! We love it!” one buyer says.

Best for the Binge Watcher

43. Samsung 65-Inch The Frame Smart TV

Samsing

He's always wanting to share the new Brit detective drama, classic TV series or sports tournament with you. Splurge on this cult-favorite television, which has a QLED 4K high-res clarity and looks like a picture frame when he's not watching it. All he’ll have to do is switch it to Art Mode and select from hundreds of curated pieces from various collections in the Samsung Art Store to display, from Leonardo da Vinci to Vincent Van Gogh to Lorenzo Lotto.

For the History Buff

44. Uncommon Goods Teas of the Boston Tea Party

Uncommon Goods

He'll appreciate this gift of five looseleaf teas that were (seriously!) thrown overboard into the Boston Harbor by colonists protesting taxation without representation. He'll also get details on how many chests of each tea were destroyed, brewing directions and flavor profiles as well as facts about how early Americans enjoyed tea. “I got this for my husband, who loves tea and is a history buff to boot,” says one buyer. “He loved the idea, and the teas are AWESOME—great quality and a range of flavors. The first two are so smoked it almost smelled like smoked meat, but it didn't taste like meat; it was just a smoked woody tea. The third and fourth vials were much lighter, almost floral, and some of the most delicious smelling teas I've ever smelled. The fifth was solid, but not as unique as the first two or as sweet as the other two. My husband used about a quarter of the vial on a cup of tea, but it was pretty strong, so he thinks you can get about six cups of tea from each vial.”

For the Guy with Chilly Toes

45. UGG Ascot Suede Slipper

Ugg

He won’t admit it, but you know his current slippers need an upgrade. These cozy suede moccasin slippers will keep him comfy and his feet supported while walking around the house. And thanks to the durable rubber sole, he’ll be able to wear them outside if he pleases (though we suggest you gift him a suede protector spray to keep them looking fresh and protected from the weather). “Comfortable, cozy, enjoyable, pleasant and snug. I can go all day describing these slippers. [They’re] perfect for wearing around the house yet sturdy enough to wear them out to run errands,” one five-star reviewer agrees. Trust me when I say, grandpa’s going to enjoy sinking his feet into the plush UGGpure wool interior this winter.

For The One with a Good Swing

47. Callaway Golf Hyperlite Zero Stand Bag

Callaway Golf

No caddy? No problem. If your grandpa likes to get his swing on the golf course without having to worry about hurting his back, then this innovative golfing bag is the way to go. Described as the “gold standard” in golfing bags, this brand-new version weighs only three pounds. Other grandpa-friendly benefits include a cushion at the hip for the ultimately comfortable game, and straps that will form to the individual shape of his shoulders.

For the Extremely Lactose Tolerant

48. Murray's Cheese Greatest Hits

murray's cheese

From one of our favorite NYC cheese stores, Murray’s Cheese Greatest Hits sampler includes four fan favorites: Gruyère, Manchego, Brie, and Cheddar, plus a handful of crunchy bites like Marcona almonds and a sweet, spiced jam. Admit it, he’ll love crafting an expertly curated spread to share with the whole family. (The grandkids can even teach him how to put together an Instagram- and Pinterest-worthy charcuterie board with his tasty new selections.)

For the Life of the Party

49. Viski Gunmetal Flask

Macy's

Because you remember him teaching you, as a kid, to "be prepared," you're giving him a little something to do just that. This stainless-steel suave flask is plated in brazen gunmetal black and holds six ounces of his favorite liquor. Our only problem? It can’t go in the dish washer, but that’s nothing a quick hand wash can’t fix. Because camping, hiking and maybe even sports games are ahead, and he wants to be ready.

For the Tech Savvy

50. Loop Earplugs Tomorrowland Experience 2

Loop Earplugs

Not only can you control eliminate excess on these Loop earplugs, but they are also re-wearable and easy to clean. Should Grandpa be attending a concert (or just simply want a little peace and quiet), these will certainly do a good job at serving him well. And that's not all either: PureWow's senior editor Abby Hepworth recently scooped up a pair of herself. "They allow just enough background to keep you aware and in touch with your surroundings, so you won’t feel disoriented or off balance," she says in her review, adding: "They do, however, avoid one of the biggest pitfalls with earplugs, which is a sort of blocked ear sensation called ‘occlusion,’ wherein your own voice or breath is amplified."

For the Golfer

51. Bionic Premium Leather Golf Glove

Amazon

If your grandpa is into golfing (like many of them are), then he is very aware of the hand fatigue that can occur when gripping the club while on the course for hours. That’s where this handy glove comes in. With an evenly displaced pad and breathable fabric, this glove will cushion the impact and prevent sweating while still allowing for optimal control of his swing. And according to Bionic, the gloves have been tested and have shown to improve performance while remaining more durable than the average golfing glove option.

For the Night Owl

amazon

Reading at night can strain our eyes. That’s why you should get your grandpa this innovative reading light that comes with a little clip that he can attach to any book. Its horizontal design allows for more on the page to be illuminated at once, and it also features nine adjustable brightness modes. On top of that, its soft padding will prevent his pages from being damaged. He can also fold it up and put it in his pocket so he can use it in any setting. 53. Kingleting Car Seat Cushion

Amazon

His car didn't come with heated seats? No problem. Our editors loved how easy it is to install this cushy seat cover, which features a 30-, 60- and 90-minute timer setting to warm and soothe your back. And reviewers gush over its quick-heating properties, noting how it takes less than one minute to notice the warming effects start to work. Grandpa will appreciate it not only in winter, but on any day he's feeling achy.

For the Sentimental Cook

54. Uncommon Goods Personalized Family Recipe Board

Uncommon Goods

Nobody made chicken noodle soup like his mom—nobody. Honor that treasured memory by having it engraved onto a 12” x 9” maple or cherry wood cutting board that’s pretty enough to display on the kitchen countertops. He'll think of you (and her) each time he pulls it out to dice carrots, celery and onions for the mirepoix. All you’ll have to do is pull out one of his mother’s favorite recipe cards and scan the image to submit to Uncommon Goods and her handwriting will remain intact on his new board. There’s an option to type the recipe out and have it printed in a script that feels handwritten, or you can go with the original.

For His Perfectly Manicured Lawn

55. Lawnbright Subscription Box

Lawnbright

Grandpa doesn’t let anyone come near his perfectly manicured lawn, so you know that a gift like this Lawnbright subscription box will mean the world to him and his soil. Every eight weeks, Lawnbright will send Gramps a box of the brand’s natural and organic products (like fertilizers and soil conditioners), which will be completely customized to his lawn’s needs based on a rapid survey that he’ll need to complete. Grandpa will have to fill in some key information, like rating his lawn on a scale of ‘my lawn looks great!’ to ‘bare patches’ and how big is his lawn in square feet. Grandpa can watch his grass flourish with his new, easy-to-use products. If he ever has a question or needs help, the company’s Turf Team is always a call away, and he’ll even receive texts from the Lawn Intelligence system with proper care tips for any weather changes.

For His Collectors Items

56. Pigeon and Poodle Dayton Domino Box Set

Neiman Marcus

He taught you everything he knows about dominoes, so it’s only right you pay it forward with an elegant set worthy of being added to his beloved shelf. The Pigeon and Poodle set from Neiman Marcus is made from a sleek-looking perforated aged camel leather that covers a wood composite case, for a game that's handsome but not too fancy to actually use. We bet Grandpa will want to play immediately, so you might want to polish up on your skills before gifting.

For the One Who Always Smells Fresh

57. Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Arancia di Capri Eau de Toilette

Acqua di Parma

Forward bursts of orange, mandarin and lemon burst from this popular eau de toilette that’s reminiscent of the island of Capri. It’s light, relaxing and bright and is formulated to feel less intense than a parfum that’ll have a higher percentage of perfume oil. And Grandpa’s excellent sense of smell just might pick up on the hints of petitgrain, cardamom, caramel and musk added to counterbalance the bold, citrus notes.
