Simone Biles Posts Slideshow from Whirlwind Chicago Trip with Husband Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles may be a native of Columbus, Ohio, but the 26-year-old gymnast made a visit to another midwestern city last weekend in order to support her hubby, Jonathan Owens, 28. Turns out, the gold medalist spent a couple days enjoying the sights of Chicago, Illinois, as seen in her latest Instagram post.

“A weekend in windy city,” Biles wrote in her caption.

The post included a selfie of the world champion, seemingly taken from inside a hotel room. Other pics included a mirror selfie that Biles took with two of her friends—Gabrielle Dillon and Victoria Schultz—and a pic of a menu from the restaurant Maple & Ash, which featured a personalized message for Biles: “Welcome to f*@king Maple & Ash! Simone!”

Toward the end of the slideshow, the Olympic medalist posed for two photos with her now-husband, Owens. The strong safety for the Green Bay Packers played in the Windy City on Sunday, September 10, and it seems Biles made a trip there to support him.

Biles must be a good luck charm, because the Packers ended up beating the Chicago Bears 38–20, and Owens celebrated the win with a post to his own Instagram account, which he captioned: “Windy City Dubs [fire emoji] [cheese emoji] We all we need!!!”

The athletic pair are often showing their support for each other on social media, and whenever she’s not setting new records on the mat, Biles likes to make trips to see her husband’s games.

The pair first met in 2020 and they announced their engagement in February 2022. In April of this year, the lovebirds tied the knot with a private ceremony in Houston, followed by a larger gathering with their family and friends in Mexico.
