I Couldn't Help But Wonder... Does This Surprise 'Sex and the City' Reunion During the Paris Olympics Mean Another Major Character Is Returning?

As a longtime Sex and the City fan and former And Just Like That podcast cohost, I'm always on the lookout for any clues about what might be next for Carrie (aka Sarah Jessica Parker) and co. And just like that...I got a reunion that has me (and the rest of the internet) in quite a tizzy.

Yesterday on Instagram, Jennifer Hudson shared a brand-new photo of herself in front of the Eiffel Tower...alongside former costar SJP. (For those who don't remember, J-Hud played Louise, Carrie's assistant in 2008's Sex and the City The Movie.)

In the pic, Parker and Hudson pose in front of the iconic Parisian skyline. Hudson is donning a fabulous purple coat and Parker wows in a playful denim dress and pearls.

Hudson captioned the post, "Look who I ran into in Paris!! Carrie and Louise reunited at last! Love is the thing, you know!"

Fans will remember that last line, "Love is the thing, you know," is one of Louise's classic quotes from the film.

While it's been 15 years since we saw Louise say goodbye to Carrie and New York City, fans like myself now want to know if an onscreen reunion could be in the works as well.

After all, And Just Like That season three is currently filming, and producers have not been shy about bringing characters back (Samantha...Aidan...). Could Louise potentially be next?

Clearly, I wasn't the only one with this thought. Fans had plenty to say in the comments, with one demanding, "Bring her back on AJLT!!" Evan Ross Katz wrote, "Need cameo from you on AJLT, queen!" And the official account of Sherri Shepherd's show said, "…and i began to wonder…"

Per her IG page, Hudson has been out and about in Paris for the last several days. Even today, she posted pics of herself in a tennis-inspired dress, sun hat, chic shades and sneakers along with the caption, "Tennis time!!!"

I'm glad she ran into SJP at the Eiffel Tower and all. Let's just hope she can run into her again on the 'AJLT' set soon...
