ICYMI: The 95th Academy Awards (aka the Oscars) occurred this past Sunday, March 12. Naturally, we soaked up everything we could about how celebs got ready for the night (like how Vanessa Hudgens achieved her updo and how Cara Delevingne used gold-infused eye masks to get radiating skin). Another discovery that didn't go unnoticed: Pedro Pascal's glow which the under-$150 SolaWave skincare wand is responsible for. (A fun fact we learned from the star's groomer, Courtney(Coco) Ullrich-Mooney, who shared the hot tip in an Instagram post.)

We won't lie and say this was a huge shocker to us, though, since many celebs—from Reese Witherspoon to Nicole Kidman and Meghann Fahy—have credited the device for their luminous skin in the past, sharing that it blurs fine lines and wrinkles. But here's why Ulrich used the wand to prep Pascal's face for the Oscars: "I love using the Solawave because it helps smooth the skin, reduces inflammation and gives the client a nice warm facial before grooming. It’s also compact, so it’s beyond easy to fit in my grooming kit; it’s also very convenient to charge in my car if I forget to the night before!"

We also reviewed the wand and found that it minimized our dark circles and made our fine lines less noticeable after a few weeks. See our Testing TikTok series for the device (with a head that comes vertically positioned but easily turns so that it sits perpendicular for better coverage of your face) in action. It uses red light therapy to help reduce acne breakouts and signs of aging (including wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles and dark spots).

Not to mention, it doesn't have buttons. It powers up automatically as soon as it touches your face, and after a minute, you'll feel it warming up on your skin, which we found to be extra soothing.

SolaWave recommends using the tool for five minutes at least three times a week to reap all the aforementioned benefits. Reviewers say you'll probably want to use it every day, though. One writes, "I have used [the wand] every day since I got it, and I can see a huge difference in my forehead and lip wrinkles as well; the redness in my cheeks has gone down."

Oh, and did we mention the SolaWave is currently on sale for 20 percent off until tonight? Just use coupon code L20 at checkout and prepare to be wowed.
