As a news and entertainment writer, my goal is to keep readers in the know about their favorite celebrities and highlight the best content that's worth their time, whether it's a thought-provoking miniseries or a feel-good comedy film. I spend much of my time monitoring entertainment trends and Google search spikes to inform my SEO stories, which range from movie roundups and TV rankings to dating timelines and net worth pieces.
I occasionally cover stories in other verticals, like career, beauty, food and wellness. Thanks to my love for (maybe obsession with?) chocolate, you'll notice my byline on quite a few chocolate-related stories.
Experience
After landing my first internship at Popstar magazine, I developed a passion for entertainment writing and reporting. Since then, I've worked as a Junior Features Editor at Bauer Media, writing stories for magazines like J-14, Life & Style Weekly, In Touch Weekly and Closer Weekly. I have also published a few entertainment stories on Mommyish and worked as a freelance SEO writer for Distractify, where I focused on viral celebrity news, TV theories and Tik Tok trends.
Education
I studied journalism at Baruch College and was a copy editor for the school's paper, The Ticker. I have also taken chocolate-making classes and participated in workshops to learn more about cocoa sustainability and ethical cacao farming.
