Another weekend, another two days trying to figure out what the hell to do to keep your kids entertained until Monday. Fortunately, we have just the thing to keep 'em busy. If you've got a LEGO® lover on your hands (and who doesn't?), the toy makers are putting on an extravaganza from August 15 to 18 at the L.A. Zoo that will have little ones going wild (pun intended).
To celebrate their new DREAMZzz sets hitting stores this month, LEGO is launching their LEGO DREAMZzz: A Wild Adventure at the L.A. Zoo event, where they've built larger-than-life LEGO creatures around the Griffith Park space. And the best part? During this time, the zoo will be free for the first 100 visitors each day! (Ticket prices typically range from $17 to $22 per person.)
“We’re bringing four of the beloved LEGO DREAMZzz sets creatures to life including sidekicks and dream animals like Bunchu the Bunny, Zian the giant Cat-Owl gryphon and Izzie’s Narwhal hot air balloon and red panda– all are created entirely from LEGO bricks,” LEGO Master Builder Chris Steininger tells us.
