Florals? For Spring? The Blooming Trend of the 2021 Grammy Awards

We love tracking award show fashion trends, whether it's dramatic sleeves at the Golden Globes or armor at the Oscars.

At the 63rd annual Grammy Awards, it seemed that designers were itching for the beginning of spring. Although tonight's ceremony included pre-recorded videos and spaced-out stage performances, there were still plenty of stunning red carpet looks. So what was the main trend? Florals. And we've selected the four artists who looked the best in these blossoms.

1. Debi Nova

Debi Nova is a newcomer to the Grammy Awards, receiving her first-ever nomination for Best Latin Pop or Urban Album for her album 3:33. Although the Costa Rican native is one of the lesser-known names, she caught eyes with her red carpet gown.

Nova wore a hot pink Georges Chakra minidress with flowers printed down the flowing train. The eye-popping outfit also included a pair of Sophia Webster heels. Nova was styled by Natalie Saidi, with hair and makeup by Cheri Combs.

2. Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift was a walking bouquet on the Grammys red carpet, where she wore an Oscar de la Renta minidress layered with embroidered flowers. In addition to the psychedelic design, Swift paired the look with baby pink Louboutin heels and Cathy Waterman jewelry.

The ensemble was shared on the Oscar de la Renta Instagram account, where they wrote: "Tonight was a fairytale. @taylorswift, nominated in six categories, wears a custom #odlrfall2021 embroidered pressed flower dress for the 63rd #grammys. #oscargirl."

3. Mickey Guyton

Mickey Guyton recently made history as the first Black woman to be nominated for Best Country Solo Performance at the Grammy Awards. When her single, "Black Like Me," was nominated, Guyton said, "I hope that I can continue to help open doors for other women and people who look like me."

At the red carpet event, Guyton stunned in a nude Maison Valentino dress, that included a tulle outer layer embroidered with flowers and butterflies.

4. Dababy

DaBaby received four nominations at the 63rd Grammy Awards, including nods for Record of the Year and Best Rap Song. While the North Carolina rapper hoped to take home some big prizes, he came dressed for success as well. The artist was seen wearing a Dolce & Gabbana floral suit, along with a sparkly gold turtleneck and a green and red top hat.
