With five seasons of Selling Sunset on Netflix, we’ve been spending a lot of time in awe of the realtors/reality TV stars featured on the show.
From the first episode of the series, it was immediately clear that the entire cast is fairly (OK, very) wealthy. One of the stars is Chrishell Stause, who joined the show on season one.
So, how did Chrishell Stause earn her net worth of $6 million? And what is her relationship status? We’re breaking down all the deets.

And while she’s recently become more well-known for her role on Netflix’s hit reality show (not to mention, her divorce from Justin Hartley—more on that later), not all of her wealth has come from being a realtor. However, we’ll start there.
Stause’s income mainly stems from her successful acting career. Aside from Selling Sunset, Stause is no stranger to the small screen.
She rose to popularity on ABC’s All My Children, where she played Amanda Dillon, and NBC’s Days of Our Lives, where she played Jordan Ridgeway. She also has several movie credits to her name, including Scaring the Fish, The Crimson Mask, Another Time, My Little Girl Is Gone and Staged Killer. Most recently, she appeared in A Rose for Her Grave: The Randy Roth Story and You're Not Supposed to Be Here.
Of course, Stause earns a commission from the real estate she sells. Her exact earnings are unknown, but based on the multi-million dollar homes featured on Selling Sunset, it’s likely a big chunk of her income.
In 2022, Stause published a book, titled Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took a Little Work. Although her earnings haven’t been publicly revealed, we imagine it contributed to her growing net worth.
The series, which follows employees of a Los Angeles luxury real estate brokerage, The Oppenheim Group, welcomed Stause in season one as a new addition to the office. Despite being a newcomer, she’s made quite a name for herself.
Since joining The Oppenheim Group, Stause has sold a handful of multi-million dollar homes, with commissions in the tens of thousands. To be fair, not all of those commissions likely go directly into her pocket.
While she’s definitely proven herself as a realtor, she’s also had an impressive acting career.
Before Selling Sunset, Stause spent many years as a soap opera actress (as we previously mentioned). Although we don’t know for sure what kind of money she was making back then, Showbiz Cheatsheet reports that salaries for these shows can range from anywhere between $450 to $1,000 per episode.
Stause is currently married to Australian singer-songwriter Georgia Flipo (aka G Flip). The pair started dating in 2021, shortly after Stause parted ways with her Selling Sunset co-star and boss, Jason Oppenheim.
In May 2023, the coupled tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at a Las Vegas wedding chapel. “It was a very small group there with us and some friends and family watching on a live stream,” Stause told People.
Prior to 2019, Stause was married to This Is Us actor Justin Hartley (whose own net worth is estimated somewhere around $8 million). In fact, the couple’s marriage fallout plays out during the end of Selling Sunset’s second season as well as season three.
No word on how the divorce affected either of their personal finances. But luckily, they both seem to be doing just fine on their own.
